She has worked at Google, MoPub, and Twitter. She is the author of Something More: A Working Professional’s Search for Creativity, Purpose, and Peace. Growing up, Bernadette has always been passionate about making art, but life brought her to a different path as she studied engineering and landing a career in tech. She was very deep into the tech world, but felt like she was missing out on something in life. So she turned around and went back to creating art. "One of the things I've learned is that things take time." On this episode, she talks about the struggles she faced during the process of writing her book and when it was time for her to take on what she really loved and wanted to do: art. Bernadette is also a great believer in finding out why you need to do what you feel like you need to be doing. She talks about focusing on your WHY. "One thing that's really helpful to me is just being really clear on my WHY."
